As reports continue to roll in and rumors still abound, the truth surrounding the death of actor Heath Ledger is still a mystery. Was it drugs? Was it suicide? An accident? Or a strange combination of all those things?

First, it has been confirmed that the rolled up 20 dollar bill was clean. There had been a powdery white substance on the bill, but drug tests run confirmed the substance was not drugs.

Second, how did Mary-Kate Olsen fit in the mess? The apartment where Heath Ledger was found was not her apartment, but she did know the masseuse who was scheduled to give Heath a massage and was also friends with him. The masseuse called MK two times before calling 911. Presumably to ask what she should do (how about call 911??)

Now a devestated Michelle Williams is on her way back to New York from where she was filming Mammoth in Sweden.

Reporters have been talking to anyone who has said they know Heath. Slowly it is being revealed a recent change in him. He had been literally pacing the streets of New York when he couldn’t sleep. He would immerse himself with his film roles which would cause insomnia. He would take Ambien, but would need more than one at a time to be able to get any sleep. He also partied hard late into the night, often going strong when others were going home. Problems with drugs and alcohol are apparent, and he struggled against the desire to take drugs.

Toxicology reports are not due back for at least 10 days and until then we will have to wonder what happened to such a promising young actor.
