This past weekend was filled with sorrow and grievances as many celebs turned out for a private memorial service for Heath Ledger. The celebrities present included his past co-stars and close friends, along with his father, Kim. The service was held in the Sony lot in Los Angeles, which is closed to the public.

Heath’s family returned home to Perth Austrailia today to be greeted by a sea of photographers who had gathered there to witness their sorrowful return. They were escorted through the masses by security and gave no comments, besides Kim only saying, “I’m sorry”.

This afternoon a spokeswoman for the NYC Medical Examiner’s office announced that Heath’s autopsy reports could be ready as early as today. This new report will be in addition to the initial report which ruled out death by “natural causes” but was also inconclusive. It is now believed he accidentally overdosed on a prescription he was taking.
