The new cast of the hit show Dancing with the Stars was announced last night on the Carrie Ann vs. Bruno Dance Warsfinale. A magician, a comedian, six actors, and three athletes make up the ballroom dancing group this time around. The always hysterically dead-pan group of Kenny Mayne, Lisa Rinna, and Jerry Rice were featured on Dance Wars to make the announcement official and Good Morning America will be announcing the professionals who will be.. dancing with the stars.

Among the mirror ball winner hopefuls are:

Telenovela star Cristian de la Fuente(yummmmm… if he can’t dance at least he will be HOT HOT HOT)  *partner is Cheryl Burke*

Actor Steve Guttenberg(ok I don’t really know him- but he’s been in a lot of movies, including the classic, Three Men and a Baby) *partner is Anna Trebunskaya*

Olympic Gold Medal Figure Skater Kristy Yamaguchi (when I was little I wanted to BE her! I think she will do great!) *partner is Mark Ballas*

NFL Player Jason Taylor (another FINE hunk of a man to watch… he’s really tall though- which may be his downfall)  *partner is Edyta Sliwinska*

Actress Marissa Jaret Winokur (Hairspray fans will be voting for this petite powerhouse- she will be a big contender to win!) *partner is Tony Dovolani*

Actress Priscilla Presley (married to The King… need we say more?) *partner is Louis Van Amstel*

Oscar winning actress Marlee Matlin (my mother’s personal favorite- an amazing actress- and she’s deaf so it will be an extra challenge for her!)  *partner is Fabian Sanchez*

Actress Shannon Elizabeth (if we can get past the masturbation scene in American Pie maybe we will see her dancing ability) *partner is Derek Hough*

Former Pro Tennis Player Monica Seles (long legs, strong legs, will kick her partner’s ass if needed)  *partner is Jonathan Roberts*

Magician Penn Jillette (hopefully he will not need too much magic to win over America) *partner is Kym Johnson*

R&B singer Mario(he’s not as cute as the Cristian and Jason, but man can the boy sing! and he has rhythm- very important!) *partner is Karina Smirnoff*

Radio/TV personality Adam Carolla (I remember him hosting the Dr. Drew sex help show on MTV… he is super funny!) *partner is Julianne Hough*

All in all, this COULD be a good cast- we’ll just have to wait to find out!.. I am a DWTS addict, so stay tuned… first show is up March 17th, I will be there reporting live from the couch in my living room.
